How youll contribute
A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role:
Prepares and labels patient drug orders as directed by the pharmacist.
Delivers medications to medication rooms and nursing stations as appropriate.
Reviews anticipated admissions and medication administration records (MAR) to plan deliveries to automated dispensing machines.
Restocks usable medications/IVs returned to the pharmacy; files medication orders per department procedure.
Replenishes automated medication dispensing machines and documents activities per policy.
Communicates stock utilization and ordering needs; assists with ordering inventory and supplies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Registration: Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy as required by state regulations.
Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification as required by state regulations.
Skills: Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to follow written/verbal instructions; familiarity with automated dispensing systems and inventory workflows; dependable communication and teamwork; basic computer proficiency.
