is seeking a Mission Assurance (MA) Operations Analyst I to join our USTRANSCOM Mission Assurance Team. This department synchronizes risk management activities across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) to provide actionable risk information to key decision makers. Activities include mission decomposition risk to mission/risk to force assessments continuity of operations planning emergency management information operations policy and governance reviews mission assurance assessments and the inclusion of cyber risk across the spectrum of Mission Assurance related programs and activities. Location: Scott Air Force Base IL (USTRANSCOM HQ). Work will primarily take place in government workspaces with some time in company offices and occasional telework.

In this role you will....

  • Serve as a member of an integrated cross-functional and dynamic team expected to perform in a demanding and time-sensitive environment in direct support of the Commands MA Operations Branch activities.
  • Adapt to changes in operational tempo across MA Operations Task Areas as directed by the Global Operations Center Chief TCJ3 Director and USTRANSCOM Commander.
  • Directly support MA Operations activities including risk to mission/risk to force assessments Common Operational Picture requirements Mission Assurance Working Group facilitation MA activity monitoring and reporting Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems and the Vendor Threat Mitigation Program.
  • Provide continuous integrated process and program improvement as opportunities are discovered.
  • Document activities in accordance with applicable policies and ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Support after-action reviews and contribute recommendations for corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top-Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain).
  • Bachelors degree in business engineering cybersecurity or a related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct mission assurance experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication leadership and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional time-management and task prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Experience coordinating issues with multiple military services and combatant command staffs is desired.
  • Experience at USTRANSCOM or its Component Commands is desired
  • Confidence in drafting and briefing analysis to senior executives (General Officer level) is desired.

This position is currently contingent on funding.
