The Role

• Manage the Assigned Certification process across a range of projects
• Prepare documentation for tender inspection plans and commencement notice submissions
• Oversee BCAR compliance statutory submissions and site monitoring
• Review Ancillary Certifier quality monitoring and record-keeping
• Attend and chair site meetings liaising with contractors design teams Local Authorities and clients
• Contribute to business development through client relationship management and fee proposals
• Mentor and support junior team members sharing best practice and driving continuous improvement

The Person

• Qualified to perform the role of Assigned Certifier under BCAR regulations (Architect Chartered Engineer or Building Surveyor)
• Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience
• Strong knowledge of Building Control Regulations BCAR online systems and the construction process
• Excellent leadership communication and IT skills (MS Project AutoCAD site monitoring software)
• Commercially astute with proven client-facing experience
• Proactive adaptable and committed to CPD and professional standards
