  • Salary: 8258 per annum
  • Hours:15 hours per week / 38 weeks per year. Monday to Friday 10.30am 1.30pm
  • Contract: Permanent. Required as soon as possible.

We are looking for a professional friendly and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our school-based catering teams acrossour Mid Suffolk schools. Under the guidance of the Head of Kitchen you will assist with the preparation cooking and serving of meals.

You will have:

  • Experience of food preparation and/or kitchen support role

  • A customer-focused approach

  • An ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative

  • An ability to prioritise work and flexibility to deal with unexpected and varied requests

We will offer:

  • Support from the local kitchen and wider Trust teams

If you feel that you could undertake this role and contribute to the success of our in-house catering service we look forward to hearing from you. This post is predominantly based at Stowupland High School but could also include working at our Trust Schools in the Stowmarket area.Therefore the ability to travel to Trust sites is essential.

Applications for working individual days of 3 hours per day are also welcome. There may also be the opportunity to work additional hours.

We also offer a friendly environment to work in holiday pay is built into your annual salary and you will have entitlement to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
