Location: Mounds View MN

Pay: $32.00- DOE per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm

Employment Type: Full time direct hire

About this Opportunity:
We are Seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician to join a dynamic team in Blaine. We are seeking a candidate with 2 years of Injection Molding Set up and Processing experience the ability to establish press operating parameters the ability to process parts to specifications set up sample and production molds correct processing problems inspect parts for accuracy remove and stage molds from presses and continually seek process improvement.

What Youll Be Doing:

Locate and identify proper molds ordered for production. Check part numbers and verify samples or prints to ensure that a correct part is produced.

Schedule Injection Presses.

Plan ahead for upcoming set ups by locating and preparing mold runs. Setup and adjust corresponding equipment beforehand.

Validate that the first samples meet the part requirements and recheck samples periodically for proper quality.

Install aluminum molds into injection molding presses.

Set up machine operating parameters to process to specifications - Sample Molds.

Set up machine operating parameters from cycle sheets and process to specifications - Production Molds.

Secure molds to platen and assemble heater cartridges and leads.

Correct problems at the press.

Work with production groups to meet customer demands.

Maintain a clean organized and safe work area while emphasizing quality and efficiency.

Knowledge of materials used and resin processing.

What makes you a great fit:

Minimum of 2 years Injection Molding Set Up and Processing experience.

Able to Supervise Direct and Train employees in Injection Molding Department.

Work with others to smooth transitions between shifts.

Ability to be licensed to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts.

Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and scales.

Ability to lift 55 lbs. and stand/ walk throughout the day.

Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal).

Must have reliable transportation.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and agreeable to overtime.

Experience in warehouse environments with moderate noise levels.
