Job Description
Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is looking for experienced Furniture Painters for our facilities in High Point and Thomasville NC.
Starting pay of $15.00 based on experience.
Hiring for immediate openings on all shifts

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sanding and preparing furniture and other surfaces for painting.
- Mixing and preparing paint colors and stains according to customer specifications.
- Applying paint varnish shellac and other finishes to furniture and other surfaces.
- Repairing furniture components such as drawers and doors.
- Troubleshooting and repairing painting equipment.
- Moving furnishings equipment and other obstacles to complete paint jobs as needed.
- Performing journey level painting of interior and exterior surfaces for protection and decoration by patching texturing priming sanding and/or caulking.
- Compliance with all OSHA regulations
- Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions
- Properly use any personal protection equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in furniture spraying and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of different types of wood and how they react to various finishes
- Ability to mix and apply stains lacquers and paints
- Knowledge of safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct flaws in finish
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy furniture
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
