Job Summary
Clow Valves Metal Casting Facility has an immediate opening for a Brass General Laborer
1st Shift Hours: 4am-2:30p
Starting Wage: $23.93
Health Insurance available after 60 days
$500 sign on bonus after 120 day probationary period complete.
Responsibilities of a Brass Utility include but are not limited to:
- Set up stationary/portable Hi-Vac system
- Identify cleaning tasks for the day
- Clean excess sand spillage
- Clean up of tools and area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Heavy lifting/carrying greater than 50 lbs.
- Frequent lifting greater than 40 times per hour.
- Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.
- Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.
- Ability to work in extreme heat.
- Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery including ladle crane and forklift.
- Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator metatarsal guarded boots eye protection hearing protection
