Overview
UnityPoint Health Des Moines can provide tuition assistance to team members who meet eligibility requirements. Upon completion of the Des Moines Area Community College Paramedic program participants will transition into a Paramedic position and pay scale. The position would either be in the Emergency Department or the Cath Lab

Responsibilities
Will work .5 as an EMT and recieve supplemental trainee compenstion of .5. After completion of the program participants must remain in a Paramedic role within UnityPoint Health Des Moines for two years.
Qualifications
- Currently certified as an EMT-B with a minimum of 6 months experience in the field
- Current leader recommendation preferred
- Must be in good standing according to regional corrective action within six months from the application date and through completion of the program (internal applicants only)
- Meet the admission requirements of Des Moines Area Community College
