POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Liaison plays a key role in building relationships with healthcare providers referral sources patients and families to ensure awareness and access to our hospice services. This position is responsible for promoting both residential and outpatient hospice programs through outreach education and community engagement while ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the mission values and regulatory standards of hospice care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors degree in marketing communications healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Required length of experience:
- Minimum 23 years of experience in healthcare marketing community outreach or liaison role preferably in hospice palliative care or senior care.
- Strong knowledge of hospice philosophy Medicare/Medicaid and healthcare regulations (preferred but not required; training available).
- Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and travel within the service area.
- Compassionate empathetic approach aligned with the values of hospice care.
