Job Summary
We are seeking a Biochemical Characterization Scientist to join our team in Malvern PA. This role supports pharmaceutical development through routine and advanced biochemical analyses of monoclonal antibodies and other biologics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LC/MS peptide mapping and protein characterization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform biochemical assays including peptide mapping A280 LCMS and size exclusion chromatography.
- Prepare and distribute samples for forced degradation studies and collect analytical data.
- Analyze and interpret results in accordance with departmental standards and regulatory expectations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assay development qualification and experimental procedures.
- Support instrument maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications :
- BS in Biochemistry Chemistry or related field with 24 years of relevant experience; or MS with 02 years of experience.
- Foundational knowledge of amino acids and protein structure.
- Experience with liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (LC/MS).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain GxP-compliant laboratory notebooks and author technical memos.
Additional Information :
- Full-time schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM.
