Biochemist Biophysical Characterization

• Conduct biophysical and analytical testing using techniques such as:
  • Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC)
  • Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy
  • Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
  • Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)
  • Static Light Scattering (SLS)
  • Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
  • UV-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy
  • Infrared (IR) Spectroscopy
  • Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy
  • Mass Photometry
  • Size-Exclusion Chromatography with Multi-Angle Light Scattering (SEC-MALS)
• Perform buffer preparation and automated liquid handling/measurement
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interface with multiple clients
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Power BI is preferred

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in a life science discipline (e.g. Chemistry Biology or related field) with 10 years of directly related industry experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external clients
• Self-motivated adaptable and positive attitude
• Proven ability to learn new techniques maintain accurate records and follow instructions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging diverse teams
• Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
• Commitment to quality teamwork and productivity
