This role involves working closely with students in a school-based setting providing essential therapy services that support their physical development and enhance their ability to participate fully in educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students physical abilities and develop individualized plans to improve mobility and function.
- Implement therapeutic interventions targeting gross motor skills balance coordination and strength.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and document students progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support students physical needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings preferred.
