Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Act as representatives of Horseshoe Baltimore at events trade shows and community functions creating brand awareness and loyalty increasing sales and creating a positive image for the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting guests with interactive activities (games and contests photo booth social media engagement sampling tables VR experiences etc.)
  • Greeting/hostess/host duties
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including local businesses influencers and community leaders.
  • Generate brand awareness through social media and other marketing channels.
  • Create and distribute promotional materials such as flyers brochures and other marketing collaterals.
  • Event registration/desk attendant
  • Organization and assembling of swag bags and branded giveaway items
  • Conduct demonstrations
  • General support of management team
  • Help and coordinate planning and managing events
  • Coordinate with other members of the staff to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Set up venues such as chairs tables stages sound and light equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of venues
  • Collect payments for tickets and merchandise
  • Greet guests and usher them to designated location
  • Work at the concession stands
  • Answer questions and provide relevant information for event attendees
  • Pack up equipment and other inventory when the event is over
  • Follow event safety standards and regulations
  • Interact with individuals to develop and maintain a favorable public image.
  • Provide detailed information and educate people about Horseshoe Baltimore our Food & Beverage Gaming and events.
  • Promote upcoming events and specials

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience as a Brand Ambassador Promoter or similar role
  • Prior working experience in the hospitality industry
  • Degree in hospitality or event planning (preferred)
  • Ability to work long hours flexible hours and on weekends
  • Highly creative and motivated individual
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain highly organized
  • Being able to adapt and work productively in hectic situations

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • $30.00 to $40.00 Per Hour
  • Bi-Weekly Pay Dates Holiday Pay
  • On-Call Position
