Our client a nationally recognised law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Personal Assistant to support the Finance and Projects teams. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative innovative environment with high-performing legal professionals.
About the Role
As a Legal PA in the Finance and Projects team youll be a critical enabler of the teams success providing comprehensive administrative and operational support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial and Administrative Support:
- Supporting fee earners financial performance
- Managing client billing and reports
- Monitoring matter balances and working capital
- Undertaking matter management processes
- Preparing engagement letters and matter specifications
- Business Development Support:
- Assisting with event and conference organisation
- CRM administration
- Updating fee earner CVs
- Supporting bids tenders and pilots
- Compiling client reports
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive diary management
- Travel and meeting arrangements
- Preparing meeting packs and itineraries
- Conflict checking and client due diligence
- File management and archiving
- Technical and Compliance Duties:
- Using firm-specific administrative systems
- Delegating tasks to document production
- Adhering to risk and compliance policies
- Completing mandatory training
What Were Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Three years experience in a comparable professional support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of competence in Microsoft Office suite
- Proven experience of exceptional client service
- Detail-focused with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaborative and independent working skills
- Flexibility to meet client needs
- Commitment to exceeding expectations
Desirable:
- Experience in legal or professional services environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of legal administrative systems
- Project management experience
