Job Description
Job Title: Systems Engineer - KEY
Location(s): Monterey CA
Hours: Regular Full-Time
Salary Range: $132k/yr - $160k/yr
Clearance Requirements
This position requires a current and active Secret Clearance at the time of application.
What you will be doing:
The person in this position will serve in the datacenter support group which includes the responsibilities of proper configuration and support of domain system servers SAN NAS backup systems identity management and security of the datacenter. The duties will include managing development/sustainment staging production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment. The duties will include planning installation maintenance during or after-work hours troubleshooting and managing all System servers and applications.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- 5 Years of experience
- Experience serving as a system administrator for Microsoft O365 VMWare Vsphere and NsX-T Linux Red Hat Windows Server SQL MySQL EMC SAN technologies and applications Active Directory AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter.
- Deep technical knowledge: Expertise in operating systems (Windows Linux) networking protocols storage technologies cloud computing platforms and security best practices.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical abilities to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Education:
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university
- AA/AS with 7 years experience.
Certifications:
- Require anyone of the following IAT Level II (CySA Security CND or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. The ability to move files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
