Ventura County CA Full-Time PALS Inc.
PALS Inc. is hiring a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesmany of whom have experienced traumaat our Ventura County location.
Were seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician committed to trauma-informed person-centered care. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
You will be based out of our Santa Paula office and will manage a caseload of 25-35 persons in our Santa Paula and Santa Barbara offices. Some work may be performed remotely. Some driving required.
What Youll Do
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Train and support direct support staff and caregivers
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g. case managers nurses therapists)
- Monitor data and outcomes modifying interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
What Were Looking For
- Active BCBA certification
- Masters degree in ABA Psychology Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Experience supporting individuals with trauma preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
