Do you want to get hands-on experience in a fast-moving scale-up environment working with real tech that powers entertainment venues across the world
The Social Gaming Group (TSGG) brings people together through the power of play. We operate innovative gaming venues under the brand Oche(tech-powered darts and shuffleboard) as well as developing the technology behind 500 game machines globally.
The Opportunity
Were looking for motivated individuals to join our IT Development Internship Program for 1 day per week over 2 months beginning on the 01 November 2025. Youll be part of a small team of interns based in our office in central Oslo. Youll get to work on exciting projects and have the chance to learn directly from our experienced developers.
At the end of the internship one intern will be selected for a full-time Junior Developer role with us in Oslo!
What Youll Do
- Contribute to real development projects alongside our IT team
- Explore our tech stack: Clojure Rust Python and Linux
- Gain exposure to writing testing and deploying code
- Collaborate with other interns and senior developers
What Youll Bring
- Educational background in IT Development (Bachelors or Masters) desirable
- Curiosity and a strong desire to learn
- Some programming experience (from studies bootcamps or personal projects)
- Interest in Linux networking or backend systems
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to experiment
What Youll Learn
- Real-world coding practices and deployment
- System monitoring automation and server basics
- Writing clean maintainable code
- How development works in a scale-up/start-up culture
All interns who complete this program with us will receive a certificate of completion and a reference.
