Quality assurance role at the design phase is a key enabler for success of the development of our products.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer for Suppliers your responsibility is to ensure that the Equipment developed by our Suppliers is robust from the very start and meets quality standards of safety and reliability.

What type of work will you be doing

Your first role is to support the team in maintaining tools for the good performance and the traceability of the activities. You will work with German and French teams.

Your second role is to ensure robustness in the development of Equipment for the Buy scope so development done by our Suppliers for existing and next generation of Programs.

You will do this through these pillars:

1/ ensure that supplier adhere to standard

2/ help the supplier to solve issue

3/ improve the process continuously in order to be more resilient

4/ secure risk mitigation are in place

You will directly interact and collaborate with our Suppliers and with internal departments such as Engineering Procurement.

Main tasks:

Preparation and participation of Design Review and ensure process adherence
Secure quality of the Supplier deliverables such as the Quality Assurance Plan
Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve efficiency
Collaborate and interact with various departments and organizations in particular with Helicopter Programs Chief Engineer Procurement and certification teams.

For this second role you will start your job by supporting the team in the follow up of development of equipment with suppliers in order to learn and to be able in the future to follow a development alone.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Engineering school
First experience in quality
Knowledge in system development processes (V model functional analysis)
Good stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to work in international context with strong networking skills
Knowledge about Lean management is a plus
English: Negotiation level
