Job Description
Veterinary Technician Certified or Experienced Surgical & Dental Support
Location: Oradell New Jersey
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Animal Care of Oradell is a progressive high-quality small animal veterinary hospital dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. We are currently seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician or an experienced Veterinary Technician (minimum 2 years in the field) to join our growing medical team.
This role requires hands-on experience in surgical assistance anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures. Certification is preferred but candidates with strong proven experience in these areas will be equally considered.
What Youll Do:
As a key part of our clinical team your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with surgical procedures and anesthesia
Performing dental cleanings and radiographs
Providing compassionate patient care and animal restraint
Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery
Administering treatments medications and collecting lab samples
Communicating with clients and managing follow-up care
Maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with inventory
What Were Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
Experience with surgery anesthesia and dental procedures is a must
Certification (CVT LVT or RVT) is a plus but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
