Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Anatomic Pathology Histotech Lead is responsible for preparation of histologic and cytologic materials routine and special stains; accessioning of specimens cataloging storage and proper disposal of tissues blocks and slides; record keeping such as temperature charts and workload statistics; performance of instrument maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Must have 1 year hospital laboratory experience within the last five years.
- High School or GED
- General typing/computer skills
- 1 year anatomic pathology experience preferred
