Job Description
- Operate HAAS CNC vertical mill with limited supervision.
- Make minor offset adjustments and/or tool changes.
- Ability to perform intermediate programming changes/updates.
- Ability to read and understand G & M codes.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Produce quality parts in a timely manner.
- Handle stock or work pieces. Position and secure in machine using vices jaws trays or similar fixtures.
- Perform in-process inspection of parts to verify conformance with samples and specifications using mics gauges and indicators.
- Remove steel chips from machines and place in proper containers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work on your feet for minimum 8 hours per day.
- Able to operate a manual lathe.
