Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules code of conduct and company policies and procedures.
This role is based in Jalan Boon Lay Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate with customers and authorised examiners on test schedule and location
- Allocate sufficient resources to carry out work
- Prepare all necessary documents before work to meet the site safety and health requirement of customer
- Prepare test reports and certifications for equipment after testing and inspection
- Update the database system to ensure all customers equipment are properly recorded tracked and traced
- Manage the test centre operation to ensure equipment completeness and return to customer on time
Skills / Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred significant field experience leading to comparable engineering knowledge competencies and skill
- In-depth understanding of testing concepts ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed
- Good time management and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Customer service orientated and excellent communication skills
- Possess strong computer skill
