Job Description
Company Background
Providing automation and engineering solutions across industries such as oil & gas petrochemical power generation and water treatment. They specialize in delivering end-to-end services including system design mechanical assembly electrical integration testing commissioning and long-term maintenance support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly of machines equipment and system components according to engineering drawings technical specifications and work instructions.
- Assemble and fit mechanical parts such as frames panels piping brackets actuators and other precision components for automation/control systems.
- Conduct alignment fitting and adjustment to ensure assembled parts meet dimensional and functional requirements.
- Record assembly issues and provide timely feedback to engineers and supervisors to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers during machine/system integration and commissioning phases.
- Perform routine inspection maintenance and troubleshooting of assembly tools equipment and fixtures.
- Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize waste and improve resource utilization.
- Adhere to 6S workplace practices and company safety standards during all assembly activities.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site installation works as required.
- Carry out additional tasks or project support as assigned by the department manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Manufacturing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in mechanical assembly preferably in system integration automation equipment or machinery industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in using assembly tools torque tools measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges etc.).
- Knowledge of pneumatic hydraulic or motion control systems is an advantage.
- Forklift license and driving skills will be an added advantage.
Location: Pasir Gudang Johor
Salary Range: RM 3500 - 6000
