Job Summary
7.5T Collection Driver Maidstone
Location: Maidstone
Contract: Permanent Hours: 40/week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00
Pay: 16.05/hour Overtime: 23.43/hour
About the Driver Role:
Were recruiting a 7.5 Tonne Driver to support a busy parcel network in Maidstone. This role is focused primarily on commercial parcel collections with minimal and some delivery responsibilities. You will work a pre-planned route collecting from business customers ensuring efficiency and high levels of service.
7.5Tonne Driver Key Responsibilities:

Complete scheduled parcel Delivery & Collections from commercial clients

Use handheld devices to scan and track collections

Maintain accurate records and follow route schedules

Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle checks
-
Operate safely and in line with road transport legislation

Provide a friendly and professional service to all customers

Lift and handle parcels up to 25kg using manual handling aids when needed
Requirements for 7.5T Driver:
- Valid 7.5T (C1) licence CPC and Digi Tacho
- Up to 6 penalty points accepted (no DR DD or IN codes)
- Minimum 6 months of experience driving 7.5T vehicles
- Comfortable working a collection-heavy route
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good timekeeping and route planning ability
- Physically fit and reliable
