Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Spa Intern to join our luxury spa team at Mokara Spa. This internship provides hands-on experience in the daily operations of a high-end spa environment offering exposure to guest service spa and wellness programming spa retail and back-of-house management. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality wellness and luxury service and eager to learn from seasoned spa professionals.
Responsibilities
- Support the Spa Leadership team with daily operations.
- Assist in guest service functions including welcoming guests providing tours and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Observe and learn front desk operations such as appointment scheduling check-in/check-out procedures and guest communication.
- Gain exposure to spa retail management including inventory merchandising and product knowledge.
- Assist with spa events promotions and special activations.
- Participate in back-of-house tasks such as linen organization stock replenishment and maintaining spa cleanliness standards.
- Learn and support spa reporting tracking and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Shadow spa professionals to better understand treatment protocols wellness trends and client care.

Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English both in person and over the phone.
- Proficiency in computer systems with accurate data-entry skills.
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues across all departments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of handling high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm professional demeanor.
- Ability to think quickly problem-solve and make sound decisions.
- Physical requirements: ability to move lift carry push or pull up to 30 pounds without assistance and stand/walk for extended periods or entire shifts.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
