Job Summary:
The Pre-Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the perioperative team responsible for providing comprehensive patient-centered nursing care to individuals undergoing surgical and/or procedural interventions. This role focuses on the admission assessment education and preparation of patients prior to their procedure ensuring they are medically optimized emotionally prepared and understand the plan of care. The Pre-Surgery RN acts as a patient advocate collaborating with physicians anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive surgical experience.
