Job Description

Associate Attorney Litigation Regulatory & Energy $260k$365k San Francisco CA (Hybrid leaning more on site)

Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking an associate to join a nationally recognized Litigation and Regulatory practice in San Francisco. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to sophisticated high-profile matters spanning litigation regulatory compliance environmental issues energy and real estate.

Practice Overview

This team advises clients on a wide range of matters including:

  • Complex litigation and enforcement defense

  • Regulatory and compliance counseling across multiple industries

  • Renewable energy and infrastructure projects

  • Large-scale and commercial real estate developments

  • Corporate transactions with environmental and regulatory considerations

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in litigation and regulatory proceedings including motion practice hearings and investigations

  • Provide strategic legal advice on compliance environmental and energy issues

  • Support corporate and transactional matters with regulatory and environmental components

  • Draft persuasive legal memoranda pleadings and client-facing documents

  • Collaborate across practice groups on multi-faceted client projects

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

  • 35 years of relevant experience preferably at a large or mid-size law firm

  • Background in litigation regulatory environmental or energy law

  • Strong research writing and analytical skills

  • Judicial clerkship experience is valued but not required

  • Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
