UK Digital and Product Management Leader.

We are seeking a talented individual to lead our UK Digital and Product Management teams at Marsh. This role will be based in London although other locations in the UK will be considered. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to help scope and drive innovation for the future of Marshs digitisation across the UK.
  • The leadership of the UKs Digital initiatives and Product Management teams within Marshs Business & Client Service organisation is a key role enabling delivery of the UK business strategy.
  • The UK Product team supports the critical placement & policy management and fiduciary applications across all business areas in the UK. The team works with the business to set the strategic direction and technology strategy as well as providing oversight of key applications operations incident management and technology team liaison.
  • This role will also provide thought leadership regarding digitisation of the UK business working with segment Digital Leads to drive new product and process innovation AI adoption and end to end digitisation of operations across the business. You will drive delivery of the UK Digital Strategy

We will count on you to:

  • Understand market factors strategic opportunities and executive priorities informing a digital product strategy and vision for digital products and services.
  • Drive execution of UK Digital strategy set by the UK Executive and Board with the Digital leads in UK divisions
  • Oversee UK digital products and services end-to-end including conception launch execution and scale in coordination with business divisions technology and your delivery partners
  • Lead collaboration between stakeholders sponsors and leadership both for status as well as to evangelize digital product benefits.
  • Build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with delivery partners including business IT operations support vendors and more.
  • Lead product discovery exercises focused on crystallizing the end-user needs and curating demand in your digital product domain.
  • Manage the conversion of high-level business requirements and use cases into detailed functional specifications and project plans including multi-year projects.
  • Negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.

What you need to have:

  • Experience of Digital Strategy conception and delivery whether in insurance or another industry
  • Curiosity and thirst for knowledge in terms of new technologies and their application to business needs
  • Product Management experience
  • Strong people management experience
  • Strong communication relationship building collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Experience in developing and driving alignment around a vision partnering in a highly matrixed environment setting goals initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to flex thinking between high level strategy and the details that matter
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills; self-organized and process driven

  • Knowledge of Acturis Eurotrade 2 Brokasure 64 or Whitespace or other broking platforms
  • Experience delivering digital solutions / AI in the insurance sector
