About the Opportunity:
Texas Trades LLC. has a client hiring for a skilled Millwright to join their team. The role involves installation repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals with at least one year of experience to grow in a stable hands-on career.
Position Overview:
The Millwright will be responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting repair and alignment of mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical aptitude hands-on experience and ability to read prints and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
Install maintain repair and dismantle mechanical equipment (pumps conveyors turbines motors gearboxes etc.).
Perform alignment leveling and precision installation using lasers dial indicators and alignment tools.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems and propose corrective measures.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics technical drawings and manuals.
Fabricate weld or modify parts and supports as needed.
Safely use hand tools power tools hoists cranes and rigging equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
Document work performed and communicate with supervisors.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Millwright or in a mechanical/industrial maintenance role (preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings blueprints and schematics.
Welding fabrication and machining skills a plus.
Comfortable working in industrial environments (heights confined spaces noisy conditions).
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
Valid drivers license a plus
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug background physical if required).
Pay & Benefits:
Up to $25.00/hour based on experience.
Overtime pay in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Schedule / Hours:
Full-time. May require rotating shifts scheduled maintenance downtime weekends or overtime depending on project needs.
