Job Description
25% - Transports employees students and visitors to MUSC and areas within the assigned area of operations. Boards and discharges passengers with concern and consideration safely and efficiently. Monitor vehicle performance on the road and immediately isolate and remedy issues that are within the normal scope of a vehicle operators responsibility. - (Essential)
25% - Maintains administrative and operational logs including but not limited to inspection forms mileage logs passenger counts accident/incident reports and regular updates on mandatory training requirements. - (Essential)
25% - Communicates effectively with passengers and customers in a respectful way regarding transportation schedules and services. Maintains thorough work records while making timely reports of accidents incidents and unusual occurrences. - (Essential)
20% - Responsible for fueling and cleaning of the vehicle; mopping sweeping vacuuming and washing. Performs operators pre/post vehicle inspections and adds fluids as needed. Performed in all weather conditions consistent with safety. - (Essential)
5% - Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to substituting for other drivers quick rides of town travels (day trips). - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and one year experience in truck driving operating a crane or operating a motor vehicle.
