Who You Are:
A team focused engineer with experience building large scale systems. You have extensive experience with hypervisors software infrastructure and automation.
What Youll Do:
- Design implement and maintain large-scale Linux infrastructure including servers clusters and cloud environments
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible Puppet or SaltStack to streamline system provisioning configuration and deployment
- Configure and manage network devices such as routers switches and firewalls using various protocols (e.g. OSPF BGP VLANs)
- Ensure security compliance by implementing and maintaining security best practices including access controls encryption and vulnerability management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Monitor system performance capacity and security using tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK Stack
- Develop and maintain documentation on system architecture configuration and troubleshooting procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends new technologies and emerging threats applying this knowledge to continuously improve our infrastructure and security posture
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in Linux system administration with a focus on automation and network configuration
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g. RHEL CentOS Ubuntu)
- Proficiency in one or more automation tools (Ansible Puppet SaltStack)
- Experience with network configuration and management including protocols (OSPF BGP VLANs) and devices (routers switches firewalls)
- Understanding of security best practices including access controls encryption and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS Azure GCP) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python Bash or Perl
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with version control systems (Git SVN)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum Kanban)
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
