Job Description

Overview

Presbyterian provides a year-long Medical Surgical and ProgressiveCare Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated nurses who are interested in starting their professional career in these areas. The program has shown to improve engagement and retention by providing a strong nursing foundation for quality nursing practice. Residents will obtain continuing education credits upon completion of the program.

Newly licensed nurses graduating from an accredited college within 12 months are welcome to apply. Qualified candidates must have a current New Mexico RN license and an associates degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred). Residents will be hired as full-time nursing staff in training with full benefits. Hours will be variable and at various sites.
