Job Description

Take the next step in your career as a Supply Chain Manager with Oberg Industries! We are a global leader in aerospace medical and industrial markets and we are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at our Freeport PA this role the Supply Chain Manager will oversee procurement logistics shipping and receiving inventory management and supplier relations ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services that keep our precision manufacturing operations running at the highest standards.

As a key member of our leadership team the Supply Chain Manager will work closely with senior management to drive efficiency compliance and continuous improvement across all supply chain functions. This is a business-process-oriented role ideal for someone with strong ERP/MRP expertise manufacturing experience and a passion for supplier management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead supply chain operations including procurement logistics inventory management and supplier performance.
  • Manage Oberg Freeport inventory including warehouse mobility aged/obsolete inventory and WIP tracking using ERP and warehouse management tools.
  • Drive purchasing efficiency through MRP/ERP systems Kanban reorder point programs and other supply chain tools.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations recommending process improvements for productivity and quality.
  • Supervise Freeport campus purchasing and shipping/receiving staff providing leadership guidance and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards (ISO9001 AS9100 ISOCFR Part 820 etc.).
  • Partner with the Director of Quality to ensure regulatory compliance (Dodd Frank / Conflict Minerals REACH RoHS EUMDR Proposition 65).
  • Identify and develop suppliers capable of meeting business quality and technical requirements.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and long-term agreements.
  • Define and maintain supplier performance metrics.
  • Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews audits and dashboard reporting.
  • Participate in Material Review Board meetings and communicate outcomes to suppliers.
  • Maintain and enforce supply chain-related QMS documentation policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Strong background in MRP and ERP systems management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Access.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • U.S. citizen or compliant with U.S. export regulations.
  • Ability to work on-site at Obergs Freeport campus and wear required PPE (earplugs safety glasses safety shoes).

Education & Experience
  • Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment required.
  • At least 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of metallurgical terminology and concepts strongly preferred.
