Job Summary

Excavator Operator (Demolition)

Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Hoe Operator to work concrete demolition scopes in Edmonton and area. We offer competitive wages work / life balance great opportunity for advancement potential for winter work and company matching RRSP program.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Demolition of concrete and other structures with concrete breakers on a hoe
Moving demoed materials with a skid steer
Clean up of demo areas with skid steer
Work in relatively congested areas
Operate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment
Ensure work is always done safely to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong production
Promote execute and adhere to the companys safety program
Daily equipment inspections and maintenance
Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity

Required Skills:

2 years of excavator experience
2 years of skid steer experience
Demolition experience with both excavator and skid steer is required
Exceptionally safety conscious
Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent / foreman
Ability to operate other equipment is an asset
Strong communication skills

Required Certifications:

WHMIS 2015 (required)

Required Experience:

Senior IC
