Job Description
A supportive Good School in Nottingham is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 team. This is a Full-Time Year 5 Teacher role beginning in January 2026 offering the chance to help pupils prepare for their final stages of primary education.

The Year 5 Teacher Role
- Teach the Year 5 curriculum with creativity and high expectations.
- Support pupils in building confidence and resilience ahead of Year 6.
- Monitor and track academic progress ensuring all children achieve their potential.
- Work in partnership with colleagues to develop engaging lesson plans.
- Contribute to extracurricular opportunities and the wider school life.
Requirements
- QTS with strong KS2 teaching experience.
- A passion for developing confident independent learners.
- Ability to communicate effectively with pupils staff and parents.
