About the Role
An ambitious and creative Design & Technology Teacher is required to join a forward-thinking and high-performing Bath secondary school. This is a permanent full-time role starting in January 2026 teaching DT across KS3KS5. The role will cover a range of areas including Product Design Resistant Materials Graphics and potentially Food Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach high-quality DT lessons across KS3KS5.
  • Promote creativity independence and innovation in students work.
  • Support students in developing practical skills and technical confidence.
  • Make effective use of CAD/CAM and digital technologies in teaching.
  • Contribute to enrichment activities such as design clubs national competitions and exhibitions of student work.
  • Play a role in curriculum development and cross-curricular STEM initiatives.

  • Degree in Design & Technology or a related subject.
  • PGCE or QTS.
