Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and forward-thinking teacher eager to inspire and support learners at a pivotal stage in their primary journey An outstanding two-form entry primary school in Harrow is seeking a dynamic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their talented team on a full-time temp-to-perm basis starting in January 2026.

Contract Type: Full-time Temp-to-Perm
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

    The Role Year 3 Class Teacher:
    - As a Year 3 Teacher you will play a key role in bridging lower and upper Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include:

    - Delivering engaging purposeful lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement

    - Planning collaboratively with your year group partner to ensure consistency and innovation

    - Providing excellent pastoral support and nurturing pupils independence and confidence

    - Using formative and summative assessment to track progress and adapt teaching

    - Creating a classroom culture that promotes high expectations resilience and joy in learning

    - Working in partnership with colleagues support staff and families to ensure success for every child

      What Were Looking For:

      - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

      - Experience teaching in KS2 ideally Year 3

      - Deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices

      - A reflective motivated practitioner who is open to new ideas and best practices

      - Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills

      - A collaborative mindset and a commitment to contributing to whole-school improvement
