- 10-Hour Day Shifts
- Schedule Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Total Hours: 63 hours over 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off
- Shift Time: 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable X-ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Utica NY. This role is focused on general radiology-no CT or interventional procedures. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with strong technical skills excellent patient care and the flexibility to work a 7-on/7-off schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic general radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure
- Accurately document and maintain patient records
- Provide compassionate care and ensure patient safety during all procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to provide timely effective imaging services
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification Required
- BLS Certification (AHA) Required
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License Required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in general radiology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
