Job Title: Echo Technologist Travel (Days 8a 4:30p)
Location: CHMC California
Schedule: Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Echo Technologist for a full-time travel assignment. The Echo Tech will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate data collection to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. This role requires compliance with California state licensure requirements.
Responsibilities: -
Perform echocardiograms Doppler studies and related cardiovascular ultrasound procedures

Prepare and position patients; explain procedures to ensure safety and cooperation

Process and transmit images to PACS for physician review

Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital protocols
-
Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to complications as appropriate

Ensure equipment functionality cleanliness and adherence to infection control standards

Collaborate with cardiologists nurses and other healthcare team members
Qualifications: -
Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS or RCS through CCI (required)

California Sonographer State License / CDPH Radiologic Health Branch certification (required for cardiac sonographers practicing in CA)

BLS (AHA) certification (required)

Minimum 2 years of recent echocardiography experience (required)

Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy physiology and hemodynamics

Proficiency with PACS/EMR systems; EPIC experience preferred
