Our client is a leading solar design engineering and construction company providing sustainable energy solutions to residential commercial and utility clients across Indiana Kentucky Ohio and surrounding states. They are a recognized leader in the renewable energy industry committed to high-quality solar energy solutions.

Role Overview:
The company is seeking a dedicated Operations and Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient and optimal performance of solar energy systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with solar panels inverters and other system components with the ability to troubleshoot repair and maintain systems to prevent downtime or underperformance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on solar energy systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair solar panels inverters wiring and other system components.
  • Monitor system performance and address underperformance or faults promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and system performance data.
  • Collaborate with the installation and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Follow all safety standards and protocols while on-site.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in solar operations and maintenance.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in solar energy systems preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and maintenance of solar energy systems.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills for electrical and solar systems.
  • Familiarity with solar inverters monitoring systems and electrical components.
  • Journeymans Electrical License is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
