Job Summary

Job Title: Supply Management Specialist
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year (possible extension)
Location: Milan IL 61264
Shift: 1st Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Onsite

Major Purpose

Provide entry-level sourcing and supply chain support within the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP).
Assist with cost models spend analysis invoice resolution and make-vs-buy studies.
Partner with Strategic Sourcing to address supplier performance issues and validate suppliers during selection.
Utilize the Achieving Excellence process to monitor and improve supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

Execute sourcing and supply management activities for commodities of low value/complexity.
Perform supplier management tasks including quotations supplier selection and cost reduction initiatives.
Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) to ensure timely and cost-effective design changes.
Develop and execute inventory/material flow plans to meet asset and supply chain goals.
Resolve supplier issues (shipping receiving invoicing payments) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Expedite parts when required and support continuous improvement initiatives for cost and performance.
Prepare supplier cost/industry analyses and contribute to business case development.
Maintain compliance with organizational policies regulatory codes and standards.

Skills & Competencies

Analytical: Data collection spend analysis supplier performance evaluation.
Technical Tools: SAP Excel Power BI.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication supplier/customer interaction.
Problem-Solving: Gap analysis alternative evaluation continuous improvement mindset.
Planning & Organization: Inventory management scheduling action planning.

Education & Experience

Required: Bachelors in Supply Chain Business Accounting or related field.
Open to recent graduates (0 1 year experience).
Internship or 4 6 months exposure to supply chain procurement or operational systems preferred.
