Paralegal Estate & Trust Administration
A leading law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Estate Planning and Trust Administration practice. This role is central to supporting our attorneys and clients throughout all phases of estate and trust administration with an emphasis on responsiveness efficiency and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
Estate Administration
- Prepare and file probate pleadings and related court documents.
- Assist in identifying valuing and collecting estate assets.
- Communicate with executors beneficiaries and financial institutions.
- Draft inventories accountings and reports required by the court and beneficiaries.
- Maintain calendars to ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and probate requirements.
Trust Administration
- Support attorneys in the administration of revocable irrevocable and charitable trusts.
- Assist with trust funding including preparation of transfer documents assignments and beneficiary designations.
- Track trust income distributions and expenses.
- Serve as a resource for trustees and beneficiaries on procedural and administrative matters.
Tax and Compliance
- Assist with preparation of estate gift and fiduciary income tax returns.
- Coordinate with accountants financial advisors and other professionals to ensure compliance with federal and state tax obligations.
- Maintain organized files and tracking systems for deadlines.
Attorney and Client Support
- Draft correspondence memoranda and legal documents.
- Provide case status updates and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
- Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for clients trustees and beneficiaries.
- Uphold the firms values of teamwork client service and accountability in all interactions.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
- Minimum of 3 years of estate and/or trust administration experience preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of probate procedures trust administration and estate tax filings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estate/trust management or accounting software preferred.
