Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including payroll banking flooring and general ledgers.
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and cash flow management processes.
- Develop strategies to improve revenue and control expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies internal controls and relevant state and federal tax laws.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with established timelines and standards.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer financial reporting requirements and internal control procedures.
- Supervise and develop accounting staff fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with department managers to support operational goals and enhance financial performance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors financial institutions and tax professionals.
Qualifications:
- Automotive multi dealership experience a must.
- Accounting degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years in a dealership or automotive retail environment.
- Proficiency in CDK dealership management system excel word and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
