Were hiring a QA and Support Analyst for a fast-growing fintech company to help ensure that their software is reliable high-quality and performs at its best.
As a QA and Support Analyst youll be a key part of the software development team. Youll help test new features identify bugs and ensure the overall stability of the platform. Youll also provide second-line support working with technical teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and resolve bugs and defects
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans test cases and test scripts
- Provide second-line support and conduct root cause analysis on reported issues
- Participate in weekend standby support (on a rotation basis)
- Work closely with Developers product owners and other stakeholders to maintain high product quality
- Document test results and defect reports clearly and effectively
- Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after changes
- Contribute to improvements in testing processes and tools
Requirements:- 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role
- Experience in a support role is an advantage
- Strong SQL skills for database testing
- ISTQB Certification
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented reliable and results-driven
- A passion for impactful work in African markets
