Job Summary
Introduction
Law firm in Pretoria is looking for an Attorney to join their team in the Third Party Department.
Requirements:
- An LLB degree from a recognised institution.
- Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court
- Must be in good standing with the Legal Practice Council.
- A minimum experience of 3 years of post-article experience with proven expertise in Third Party legal matters.
- The ideal candidate should possess exceptional drafting negotiation and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Electronically proficient.
- Excellent written oral and communication skills essential for litigation and effective client and team interactions.
- A proactive solution-focused mindset with a track record of handling complex legal issues.
Responsibilities:
- Third Party Claims against the Road Accident Fund
- Conduct consultations and provide expert legal advice on third-party matters including litigation claims and disputes.
- Draft review and attend to pleadings and motions related to third-party matters.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes through diligent research ensuring our legal practices remain at the forefront.
- Maintain high standards of quality efficiency and timeliness in all legal services provided to clients.
- Monitor and report on fee-generating activities aiming to meet and exceed performance targets with a strong sense of initiative.
