Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic EVP of Fun to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for party planning pool parties and clam bakes. The EVP of Fun will be responsible for organizing and executing company events as well as coordinating team-building activities and social outings.
Responsibilities:
- Plan organize and execute company events such as holiday parties team-building exercises and social outings - Collaborate with other departments to ensure events run smoothly - Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors - Identify new trends and ideas for events and activities - Build and maintain relationships with vendors and venues - Coordinate logistics including transportation accommodations and catering - Ensure events are inclusive and accessible to all employees - Manage any issues or concerns that arise during events
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in event planning hospitality management or related field - At least 5 years of experience in event planning with a focus on pool parties and clam bakes - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong negotiation and budget management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software
