Job Description
CK Group is recruiting for a Tax Analyst Intern to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis for 12 months.
Salary:
Paying 13.26 per hour PAYE
Tax Analyst Role:
Our client is the global leader in enabling pharma, biotech, and consumer health partners to optimize product development, launch, and full life-cycle supply for patients around the world. They have the goal of putting patients first and helping people around the world live better and healthier lives.
Location:
This role is based at our client's site in Chester and allows for hybrid 50/50 working between the office in Chester and home.

Salary:
Paying 13.26 per hour PAYE
Tax Analyst Role:
- Preparation of monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or annual VAT returns and other indirect tax returns (sales listings, domestic listings, purchase listings, Intrastat, SAF-T) using Excel and/or indirect tax return preparation tool technology
- Preparing and requesting necessary VAT submission approvals from internal stakeholders
- Preparing and raising VAT payment requests and archiving documentation after submissions are completed
- Preparation of VAT and Sales General Ledger reconciliations, and follow up on issues and open items
- Manage and assist with VAT compliance queries from the business as necessary
- Assistance with the preparation of information for VAT audit requests as necessary
- BA/BSc or equivalent education, ideally in accounting/finance
- Experience with SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in another European language is advantageous.
- Ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work with a range of technically and culturally diverse people.
- Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience, at multiple levels within the company.
- Autonomous working.
