Full-time Job Announcement
Position: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Maternal/Child Instructor (9-month position)
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety
Reports to: Program Chair for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program and Divisional Academic Dean
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.
Deadline to Apply:October 8 2025 at 4:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Teach in simulation and laboratory settings.
- Clinical and classroom instruction.
- Curriculum implementation and evaluation.
- Work with regulators to maintain full accreditation.
- Perform other work duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters of Science in Nursing with experience in maternal/child nursing education.
- Current and valid Georgia Registered Professional Nursing License.
- Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years teaching experience and clinical practice in the field of maternal/child nursing.
- Experience with simulation and technology.
