Job Description:
Seeking a highly qualified onsite Help Desk Technician to join its IT Department on a contracted basis. This professional will work alongside the existing full-time Help Desk team to support ongoing technical initiatives and provide frontline IT support to users across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to end users in person over the phone and via remote tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues.
- Support users with applications such as email word processing operating systems and printing.
- Install configure and maintain desktops laptops and peripheral equipment.
- Log and track service requests using the Citys ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams when needed.
- Document procedures issues and resolutions accurately.
