Te Kōwhiringa The Opportunity

Our Reactive team are on the lookout for Wastewater Serviceperson to join them and support in the routine maintenance and respond to faults on the Wastewater and Stormwater networks. This role is based in Albany but covers the wider Auckland region.

The position can be filled by an experienced water serviceperson or candidates with a good understanding of the water or drainage industry. They should be enthusiastic about using their practical skills and ideally have relevant hands-on mechanical or trade qualifications and/or experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a can-do attitude be adaptable and flexible in your work approach with attention to detail and have a strong customer service focus.

  • Experience knowledge or interest in the Waste/Water Reticulation.

  • A full class 1 drivers licence and class 2 licence would be preferred.

  • Strong focus on Health and Safety and protection of the environment

  • Sound computer knowledge with the ability to operate a mobile field device.

  • Current confined space entry would be an advantage

  • A great attitude willing to learn new skills and build a stable career!
